Cybersecurity Cloud begins business partnership with TWOSTONE Sync, a TWOSTONE & Sons group company.
TWOSTONE Sync begins offering "Shadankun" and other services, combining the talent networks and expertise of both companies to support the operation and implementation of web security.
Cyber Security Cloud, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toshihiro Koike; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), a global security manufacturer, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a business alliance with TWOSTONE Sync Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akimasa Miyazaki; hereinafter referred to as "TWOSTONE Sync"), a group company of TWOSTONE&Sons Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TWOSTONE&Sons").

Through this partnership, TWOSTONE Sync will begin offering web security services, including its Cloud-based WAF "Shadankun." Furthermore, we will leverage our security products and expertise, along with the TWOSTONE&Sons Group's IT talent network, to support client companies from the implementation to the ongoing operation of their web security measures.
In this business partnership, TWOSTONE Sync will provide these services through a single point of contact, encompassing everything from formulating corporate business strategies and security policies to implementation and operational stabilization. Our company will provide security products and technical support, while TWOSTONE Sync will handle client companies' problem identification, policy formulation, service selection, and stabilization support. Furthermore, by combining our expertise and technology with the TWOSTONE&Sons Group's IT talent network, we will address the diverse security challenges of client companies and support the continuous operation of their web security.
■ Background: Continuous security measures are necessary for the web and cloud environments that support our business.
① It is becoming increasingly important to continue taking countermeasures to prepare for attacks that exploit AI vulnerabilities and misuse them.
Websites and cloud-based services have become crucial business foundations. Meanwhile, the IPA (Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan)'s "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026" lists "cyber risks surrounding the use of AI" as the third-highest threat to organizations (a first-time selection), and "attacks exploiting system vulnerabilities" as the fourth-highest (*1). To prepare for these threats, it is important to understand the risks lurking in your own systems, such as vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, and to take countermeasures according to priority. It is necessary to continuously implement countermeasures that adapt to changing threats and system environments by resolving vulnerabilities through software updates and modifications, as well as by combining attack detection and blocking by WAFs and reviewing cloud environment settings.
② In addition to introducing the product, the challenge is to create a system that can continue to operate it.
Security measures are not complete simply by installing a product. After implementation, it is necessary to monitor the detection status of the WAF, adjust rules as needed, respond to new vulnerability information, and review settings in response to system changes. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of approximately 110,000 cybersecurity professionals in Japan (*2), and the lack of specialized personnel and time to dedicate to operation poses a challenge for companies in continuing to implement security measures.
Up until now, our company has been working to create systems that enable companies with limited security personnel to continue operations through automated WAF operation and fully managed services. This time, we have made security one of our key areas of focus and are collaborating with TWOSTONE Sync, which works closely with client companies from strategy planning to implementation and adoption. This will allow us to deliver our services from the security policy formulation stage and provide support until operations are firmly established.

■ Representative's Comment

A strategy only becomes meaningful when it is implemented and generates profits. The same is true for security; simply outlining policies is not enough to protect your business. We have made security one of our key areas of focus, and together we will work to ensure that our clients can move their businesses forward with peace of mind.
