Thanks to you, WafCharm is now in its 6th year since its launch, andhas grown into a service that can be used by companies with a cumulative total of over 1,000 users*.

This time, aiming for a more convenient service for customers, we will revise the plan along with WafCharm function update on June 1, 2023 as follows.

*1 "WAF setting unit" corresponds to WebACL in the AWS version, WAF Policy in the Azure version, and Security Policy in for Google Cloud. The WAF setting unit fee is prorated. It will be calculated for each WAF setting unit registered on the WafCharm management screen.
*2 The number of web requests is totaled for each WafCharm account.
*3 Only the AWS version is supported.
*Prices do not include tax.

Major changes

• After June 1, 2023, it will be offered in two plans, "Business" and "Enterprise", and the update function will be installed as standard.
• The Entry Plan will be discontinued for new applications on May 31, 2023.

Update function details
■ Web site alteration detection function
We monitor the FQDN registered in WafCharm and check daily whether the website has been tampered with. If the DNS is not connected, if the URL to the attack site is included, if the HTTPS connection setting includes deprecation or compromise settings, etc., it will be detected and notified to the registered notification destination by e-mail.

■ Immediate reflection of static Blacklist and Whitelist
Until now, processing was done in batches once every 5 minutes, so there was a waiting time until reflection. By building a new unique architecture, it is possible to reflect immediately according to the creation, update, or deletion of WebACLConfig.

■ Blacklist updated every 5 minutes by signature re-matching
A key feature of WafCharm is the ability to blacklist IP addresses by rechecking access logs. Until now, the blacklist was updated every hour, but by building a new unique architecture, it is now possible to update every 5 minutes.

About current plan pricing
Plans whose usage period has already started can be used as is at the plan (price). No extra charge. Customers using the entry plan can also use it as it is. However, the update function is not provided.
