In 2015, he developed the first "cyber risk insurance" among Japan's major non-life insurance companies. He led the cybersecurity business at Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. He has also served as a part-time lecturer at the Tokyo Denki University Special Course in International Cybersecurity (CySec), a core member of the Japan Business Federation's Cybersecurity Working Group, and a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Industrial Cybersecurity Study Group.

He is a former senior cybersecurity analyst at the National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity (NISC), Cabinet Secretariat. He has served as an expert committee member for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the National Police Agency, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and others. His recent publications include "Cross-Sector Cybersecurity Law" (serialized in Shojihomu NBL).
