We have established an AI Trust Board, a specialized organization to evaluate and judge the trustworthiness of generated AI.

~We have also started accepting consultations regarding the Trust and Security of generated AI~

Cyber Security Cloud, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toshihiro Koike; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), a global security manufacturer, established the "AI Trust Board," a specialized organization to judge and promote the value and reliability of generated AI, on April 1, 2026.

While the social implementation of generative AI is rapidly progressing, companies are facing difficulties in deciding on its introduction and service provision from the perspectives of data usage, security, transparency, and accountability. To address these challenges, we have established a decision-making system that evaluates and judges products and services utilizing generative AI from three perspectives: "Technology," "Business Value," and "Trust." We have established a system that evaluates and judges generative AI not only from a technological and business value perspective, but also from the perspective of Trust (reliability, transparency, and accountability)—that is, whether it can be used with confidence by society and customers—and will promote the development and utilization of generative AI that balances speed and reliability.

■Background: "Trust" required for the social implementation of generative AI

With the rapid spread of generative AI, AI is increasingly being used by many companies and organizations as a crucial technology to support business efficiency and the creation of new customer value. On the other hand, the following challenges have become apparent in the social implementation of products and services that utilize generative AI.

• The validity of data use in learning and inference.
• Accountability regarding the handling of personal and customer data
- Responding to security, governance, and regulations
- Whether or not AI can be provided in a socially acceptable manner.

These challenges are difficult to address using only conventional information security measures and development processes, making expert evaluation and guidance from the planning and PoC (Proof of Concept) stages crucial.

As a cybersecurity company originating in Japan, we have determined that it is necessary to leverage the threat intelligence and security expertise we have accumulated to maximize the value of generated AI while ensuring its reliability. Therefore, we have established the "AI Trust Board."

■ About 'AI Trust Board'
The 'AI Trust Board' is responsible for our company's generative AI-related projects and products.

• Technology (technical feasibility and validity of the AI architecture)
• Business Value (customer value and business sustainability)
Trust (reliability, accountability, data transparency)

This is a decision-making system directly under the CTO that evaluates from three perspectives and makes early decisions and sets directions based on the PoC (Proof of Concept). This organization is positioned as a specialized subcommittee composed of members with expertise in the field of generative AI from among the members of our Information Security Committee, and will rapidly promote the use of generative AI while maintaining consistency with existing security controls.

■ Core Member Composition of the 'AI Trust Board'
The AI Trust Board consists of the following members:

Yoji Watanabe Representative Director, CTO Cyber Security Cloud, Inc.
Kay Yamada, Head Cyber Security Cloud, Inc.
Yuichi Ota, Representative Director, DataSign Co., Ltd.

This allows us to establish a system for making decisions regarding the use of generative AI without separating the technical, business, and reliability aspects.

■Regarding accepting consultations from external parties
As part of our "AI Trust Board" initiative, we will begin accepting external inquiries regarding the Trust, Security, and Data Usage of generated AI.

You can consult with us on the following matters from the planning and consideration stages.

We are unsure whether it is acceptable to use customer data and personal data in our AI generation tools.
I have concerns about how RAG and training data will be handled.
- It's unclear to what extent we should address this from a security governance perspective.
We want to provide a generative AI service in a way that is socially justifiable.

We are happy to discuss your project even if the specifications are not yet finalized or if it's still in the idea stage before a proof-of-concept (PoC). We support companies in utilizing generative AI to ensure the trust (reliability) that is crucial for the social implementation of generative AI.

■Comment from Yoji Watanabe, Representative Director, CTO Cyber Security Cloud, Inc.
While generative AI brings significant value to business activities, it also necessitates addressing new risks such as safety, transparency, and accountability.

Leveraging the expertise we have cultivated through cyberattack threat analysis and security product development, we believe it is essential to promote the social implementation of generative AI based on the premise of "Trust (reliability, transparency, and accountability)."

Through the "AI Trust Board," we aim to maximize the potential of generative AI while realizing AI utilization that is trusted by society and customers.
