It's not a choice between "career or childcare." HR planner Adachi, who reduced workload by approximately 50% through the introduction of AI into recruitment processes, won the "WOMAN AI AWARD 2026" Company Innovator Award.

Mami Adachi of the Human Resources Planning Department at Cyber Security Cloud, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toshihiro Koike; hereinafter “the Company”), a global security manufacturer, received the Company Innovator Award at the “WOMAN AI AWARD 2026” awards ceremony held on Monday, July 6, 2026.

This award recognizes individuals who have driven AI transformation from within a company or organization. The judges highly praised Adachi's efforts for two reasons: firstly, for fundamentally rethinking recruitment processes, which tend to rely heavily on individual intuition, by redesigning them with AI in mind; and secondly, for implementing a new way of working that allows for a balance between quality, childcare, and career.

After returning to work from maternity and childcare leave, Adachi broke down the recruitment process into 55 steps and redefined the tasks that would be handled by AI and humans, including creating job postings, managing candidates, scheduling interviews, and organizing information. By reviewing the process with AI in mind, she reduced the workload of recruitment by approximately 50%, creating a system that allows time to be allocated to tasks that only humans can do, such as communicating with candidates and conducting interviews.

Instead of a choice between "childcare or career," pursue both! For details on "Examples of AI utilization in recruitment operations" and "AI-powered work design" that enable you to balance childcare and career in the AI era, please visit the WAIJ owned media.

About the WOMAN AI AWARD 2026

This award is hosted by the Women AI Initiative Japan, a general incorporated association. It recognizes women who have challenged themselves with AI and expanded their options as "role models," and widely disseminates the stories behind their transformations. Through the existence of these role models, the aim is to create opportunities for people to "learn about and experience AI" and to broaden social awareness of AI utilization.

Comment from Mami Adachi, Human Resources Planning Department

"I believe this award is a testament to our company's culture of strong commitment to AI advancement and the dedication of our employees who joined us in this challenge. A major turning point was redefining AI not merely as an efficiency tool, but as a 'collaborative partner' that expands our capabilities. Thanks to AI, we can overcome the constraints of time and environment and focus on tasks that only humans can do. I want to convey the hope to women facing lifestyle changes and the choice between 'career or childcare' that AI can help them achieve both."

Cybersecurity Cloud's efforts towards AI

Our goal is for all employees to evolve into "AI natives" and triple our business productivity by 2028. Approximately 90% of our employees already utilize AI in their daily work, and we are developing an environment that supports increased productivity and fosters creativity. Furthermore, we endorse the "MIRAIa (MIRAIa) Declaration of Support for Women's AI Challenges," implemented by the Women AI Initiative Japan, the organization that hosted the WOMAN AI AWARD (which Adachi received), which encourages women to learn about AI, take on challenges, and make autonomous life choices. In addition to promoting the use of AI, we also place great importance on the security of AI as a security manufacturer. In April 2026, we established the "AI Trust Board," a specialized organization to promote AI governance, and in June of the same year, we launched "AI MONBAN," an AI security service that supports the safe use of AI. By promoting the use of AI and governance in tandem, we aim to realize our mission of "creating a cyberspace that people all over the world can use safely and securely."
