(Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toshihiro Koike; hereinafter referred to as "CSC"), a global security manufacturer, has endorsed the "MIRAIα (Mirai-a) Declaration to Support Women's AI Challenges" (sponsored by Women AI Initiative Japan), a general incorporated association, to encourage women to take on diverse learning opportunities and challenges in the AI era, and will support AI and women's careers.

■ Background of support

While the rapid development of AI technology brings new possibilities to society and business, it also brings to light serious issues such as safety in the digital space and information ethics.

Guided by our mission of "creating a cyberspace that people around the world can use safely and securely," we have supported the safety of our customers in a wide range of areas, from protecting web applications to comprehensive security management and operation of public cloud environments.

We strongly sympathize with the idea of "MIRAIα" - "Supporting women who take on challenges in the AI era and encouraging them to take new steps." By supporting this project, we will support the challenges of women who are expanding the possibilities of technology, including AI, and contribute to the development of a safe and secure digital society.

In addition, we announced our "AI Promotion Policy" in September 2025, and are working to improve business efficiency and create new value by utilizing cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI.

We believe that our support for the "MIRAIα" project marks a new step in sharing this direction for AI utilization with society at large and contributing to the realization of a safe and secure AI society.

■ New initiatives to promote AI within the company

As part of our efforts to support employees in improving their skills, we have previously established a subsidy system for various qualification exams. We have now expanded the scope of this system to include AI-related qualifications as new subsidy targets. We plan to continue gradually expanding the scope of subsidies for AI-related qualifications in order to improve employees' AI literacy and strengthen their practical skills.

■What is MIRAIα?

"MIRAIα" is a declaration of support for women taking on new challenges in the age of AI. By expressing our willingness to support women's AI challenges, we aim to create a future in which women can learn about AI, take on challenges, and make autonomous choices.

This initiative is a project launched by the Women AI Initiative Japan, a general incorporated association, with the aim of raising awareness of the potential for women to play an active role in society and creating an opportunity for Japan as a whole to move forward.
